Abstract

Felsefenin temel disiplinlerinden ilki olan metafizik Aydınlanma felsefesinde epistemolojik içerikli olarak yeniden gündeme gelip tartışılmıştır. Bu tartışmalardan en önemlileri hiç şüphesiz Aydınlanma felsefesinden Kant’ın, çağdaş felsefeden ise Wittgenstein’ın başlatıp yaptıkları epistemolojik içerikli sorgulamalarıdır. Bu doğrultuda çalışmamızın konusu bu iki filozofun kesin bilgi için çizdikleri sınır problemiyle sınır dışı alanının nasıl ele aldığını ortaya koymaktır. Ayrıca bu filozofların Tanrı inancını nasıl temellendirdikleri de incelenmiş, Kant ve Wittgenstein felsefelerinde Tanrı sorununun nasıl tartışıldığı araştırılarak her iki filozofun Tanrı tasavvurundaki benzerlikleri ve farklılıkları ortaya konmuştur.

KANT’S AND WITTGENSTEIN’S PERCEPTION OF GOD: SILENT FAITH

Abstract

One of the fundamental disciplines of philosophy, metaphysics has become the main topic of discussion in Enlightenment philosophy in terms of its epistemological content and it has been discussed once more. The most important points of these discussions are undoubtedly Kant’s questionings belonging to the philosophy of Enlightenment and Wittgenstein’s questionings belonging to the contemporary philosophy both of which are full of epistemological content. In this respect, the topic of our study is to put forward how both of those philosophers deal with the concept of boundary that they have drawn for absolute truth and the concept of off-limits.This study points out how the issue of God has been discussed in Kant’s and Wittgenstein’s philosophies and the similarities and differences between both philosophers’ description of God
