HEMŞİRELİK BİRİNCİ SINIF ÖĞRENCİLERİNDE SAĞLIK ALGISI

Abstract

Çalışma hemşirelik öğrencilerinin sağlık algılarını belirlemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı türde yapılmıştır. Çalışma 198 hemşirelik öğrencisi ile yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada veriler literatüre dayalı olarak hazırlanan Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Sağlık Algısı Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. İstatistiksel analizlerde t-testi ve OneWay ANOVA testleri kullanılmış ve p<0.05 istatiksel olarak anlamlı kabul edilmiştir. Katılımcıların yaş ortalamaları 18.63 ±1.11 ve %85.9’u kadındır. Sağlık Algısı Ölçeği puan ortalaması 51.10±5.72; kontrol merkezi alt boyutu 17.07±3.20; kesinlik alt boyutu 11.74±2.93; sağlığın önemi alt boyutu 11.33±2.13 ve öz-farkındalık alt boyutu 10.94±1.87 olarak bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerden aile gelir durumu iyi olanların ve bir yakının yanında kalanların kesinlik alt boyut puan ortalamaları, burs alan öğrencilerin almayanlara göre sağlık algısı toplam puanı ve kesinlik alt boyut puan ortalamaları, düzenli ilaç kullanmak zorunda olmayan öğrencilerin kullanmak zorunda olan öğrencilere göre kontrol merkezi alt boyut puan ortalamaları diğer gruplara göre daha yüksektir. Elde edilen bu sonuçlara göre hemşirelik öğrencilerinin sağlık algılarını etkileyebilecek farklı ilişkili faktörleri ele alan çalışmaların yapılması önerilmektedir.

HEALTH PERCEPTION OF NURSING FIRST GRADE STUDENTS

Abstract

This descriptive study was carried out in order to determine the health perceptions of nursing students. The study was conducted on 198 nursing students. The data for the study were collected using a literature-based questionnaire form and the Perception of Health Scale. In the study, t-test and One Way ANOVA tests were used and p <0.05 was considered statistically significant. The average age of the participants was 18.63 ± 1.11, and 85.9% of them were women. Health Perception Scale mean score was 51.10 ± 5.72; the control center subscale was 17.07 ± 3.20; precision dimensions mean score 11.74 ± 2.93; the subscale scores of the importance of health was found to be 11.33 ± 2.13 and self-awareness subscale being 10.94 ± 1.87. Certainty sub-dimension averages of students with favorable family income and living with a relative, total health perception score and precision sub-dimension averages of students who received scholarships compared to those who did not, and control center sub-dimension averages of students who do not have to use regular medication compared to students who have to use them higher than other groups. According to these results, it is recommended that studies addressing different related factors that may affect nursing students' health perceptions be conducted.
