MEDİASTİNAL KİSTLERİ TAKLİT EDEN NADİR BİR DEV ANEVRİZMAL KEMİK KİSTİ

Abstract

Mediastinal kistler az rastlanan lezyonlardır. Torasik kaviteyi oluşturan iskelet yapıdan kaynaklanan anevrizmal kemik kistleri nadiren kavitenin içine doğru büyüyerek mediastinal kistleri taklit edebilir. Rastlantısal olarak mediastinal kist tanısı konan olgumuz cerrahiye alındı.Vertebradan kaynaklanan dev anevrizmal kemik kisti tespit edildi ve total cerrahi rezeksiyon uygulandı. Perioperatif ve postoperatif komplikasyon görülmedi. İntratorasik anevrizmal kemik kistleri uygun cerrahi yaklaşımla küratif olarak tedavi edilebilir

A Rare Giant Aneursmal Bone Cyst Mimicking Mediastinal Cysts

Abstract

Mediastinal cysts are rare lesions. Aneurysmal bone cysts, originating from bone structures of thoracic cavity, may mimic mediastinal cysts when they grow into the toracic cavity. Our patient who was incidentally diagnosed to have mediastinal cyst underwent surgery. A giant mediastinal aneurysmal bone cyst originating from vertebra was seen and total surgical resection was performed. No complication was seen in the perioperative or postoperative period. Intrathoracic aneurysmal bone cyst can succesfully be cured by prompt surgical aproach
