Bu çalışma, elit altı basketbolcularda dikey sıçrama vemüsabaka performansı arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesiamacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmaya üniversitede öğrenim gören,aynı zamanda üniversite basketbol takımında oynayan veantrenman yaşı beş yıl ve üzerinde olan 51 erkek basketbolcugönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Gönüllülerin ortalama yaş, boyuzunluğu ve vücut ağırlığı değerleri sırasıyla 20.45±1.40 yıl,183.27±7.22cm ve 80.27±12.98kg olarak tespit edilmiştir.Çalışmaya katılan sporcuların yaşlarının belirlenmesindekimlik bilgisi esas alındı. Boyları, boy ölçer aleti ile ölçülerekcm cinsinden, vücut ağırlığı elektronik baskül ile ölçülerek kgcinsinden kaydedildi. Sporcuların durarak ulaşabildikleri enyüksekteki nokta ile sıçrayarak ulaşabildikleri en yüksektekinokta belirlenerek, sporcuların dikey sıçrama ölçümlerialındı. Müsabaka performans analizi için, kamera sistemiylemaçlar kayıta alınarak, müsabaka analizi yapıldı. Müsabakaperformansı için Czwalina’ “Basketbol’da MüsabakaPerformans İndeksinin Hesaplanmasına İlişkin Oyun DeğerSkalası” esas alındı. Veriler SPSS 21.0 istatistik paketprogramında değerlendirildi. Verilerin normal dağılımgösterip göstermediği Shapiro-Wilk testi ile değerlendirildi
The aim of this study was to determine therelationship between vertical jumping and competitionperformance in sub-elite basketball players. This studyincluded 51 basketball players who were also universitystudents with training ages of 5 years or more. They wereon the university university basketball team, andparticipated in the study voluntarily Mean age, heightand body weight of the volunteers were found as20.45±1.40 years, 183.27±7.22 cm and 80.27±12.98 kg,respectively. ID information of the players was used todetermine the ages of players. Their height was measuredin “cm” and their body weight was measured by means ofan electronic scale in “kg”. Vertical jumping level ofplayers was determined. In order to analyze thecompetition performance, the matches were camrecorded by cameras. For the competition performance,Czwalina’s “The Game Value Scale for Calculation ofCompetition Performance Index in Basketball” was used.For data analysis, SPSS 21.0 package software was used.Normal distribution of data were tested by Shapiro-Wilk.The measurement results were presented in terms of“median” and “standard deviation”. One way ANOVAwas performed to compare the teams. The Pearsoncorrelation analysis was used for comparison ofnumerical values. Level of significance was set at 0.05. Inconclusion, T1,who won the competition, had the highestgame performance scale value in the Czwalina’s gamevalue scale and competition performance analysis. T5,who ranked in the last place in competitions, had thelowest value. The correlation revealed a positiverelationship between vertical jumping level and gameperformance in basketball
