Fluoreseent antibody technique

Year 1963, Volume: 2 Issue: 2, 112 - 122, 01.12.1963

Abstract

A short history of the development of the ImmunochemichaJ
staining procedures and the imporlance of this method in diagnosis
have been presented.
The future significance of the fluorescent antibody tests in microbiology
in connection with the diagnosis and control of the contagious
diseases was discussed.
The nature and quantity of fluorescence and the selection of
the optical equipment have been discussed.
The types of fluorescent antibody tests which are in use have
been explained. The importance of the FA method in the rapid identification
of microorganisms was pointed out as opposed to the slow
standard tests which require a great amount of laboratory work.
The rapid and spesific way of identifying unknown antigen
and antibody through the FA method has been discussed.

Fluorescent antikor metodu

Year 1963, Volume: 2 Issue: 2, 112 - 122, 01.12.1963
