Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Bursa bölgesindeki 140 at'a ait serum örnekleri, Mikroskobik
Aglutinasyon Test (MAT) ile Leptospira interrogans serogrup pomona,
canicola, icterohaemorragiae, hardjo'ya karşı antikor mevcudiyeti yönünden
incelendi. MAT için, 11100 ve yukarı titreler pozitif kabul edildi. in..:
celenen örneklerin ll (% 7 ,85)'i sadece L. icterohaemorrhagiae ile pozitif
reaksiyon verdi. Pozitif örneklerin 9'u 11100, 1 'i 1/200, 1 'i 1/400 titr'eye sahiptir.
Prevalans oranı bakımından erkekler ile dişil~r arasında istatistiki olarak
önemli bir fark saptanmadı.

Seroprevalance of Leptospirosis in Horse

Abstract

In this study, serum samples from 140 horses in Bursa, in north western
Turkey w ere examined by the Microscopic Agglutination Test (MAT) for the
presence of antibody against Leptospira interrogans seragroup pomona, canicola,
icterohaemorragiae and hardjo. A titre of 11100 or more was cansidered
positive for MAT. Of the samples examined, ll (7.85%) were positive
against only L. icterohaemorrhagiae. Of the positive samples, 9 had titers of
11100, 1 had titre of 1/200, 1 had titre of 1/400. There was no statistically significant
difference in the prevalence rate between male and female.
