A detailed overview of the journal’s writing and formatting requirements is provided below. You may prepare your manuscript in accordance with these requirements, or alternatively, use the journal's Word template to ensure that your manuscript complies with the journal’s submission guidelines. The Word template has been designed to incorporate all of the journal’s writing and formatting requirements. Authors can prepare their manuscript by pasting their content directly into the relevant sections of the template. To ensure that the formatting remains consistent with the journal’s standards, authors should paste the text using the “Keep Source Formatting” or “Merge Formatting” option in Word, as appropriate.

Writing and Formatting Guidelines
1. General Requirements
- Manuscripts must be prepared in MS Word 2007 or later versions.
- The page size should be A4 (210 × 297 mm).
- Margins on all sides (top, bottom, left, right) should be 2.5 cm.
2. Manuscript Formatting
- Font: Times New Roman, 11 pt, single line spacing.
- Paragraphs: First-line indentation of 1 cm; paragraph spacing 6 pt before and 0 pt after.
- Headings: Only the first letter of each word capitalized; 11 pt; aligned 1 cm from the left margin; all headings should be formatted consistently.
- Equations: Must be prepared using MathType or Word’s built-in Equation Editor.
- Tables and Figures:
- Each table/figure must have a number and a title.
- Table titles should appear above the table and be centered; figure titles should appear below the figure.
- No vertical lines should be used in tables; horizontal lines may separate subheadings only.
- If a source is cited, it should appear below the table/figure in in-text citation format.
3. Author Information
- Each manuscript must include the following details for all authors:
- Full name(s)
- Institutional title(s) and affiliation(s)
- Email address(es)
- ORCID ID(s)
- The corresponding author must be clearly identified.
4. Title, Abstract, and Keywords
- The main title should accurately reflect the content of the article, written in 12 pt bold, centered, and with initial capitalization.
- Both an English and a Turkish* title must be provided; the Turkish title should be in italics.
- Each article must include both English and Turkish* abstracts of 150–200 words each, written in 10 pt Times New Roman, single-spaced, with 6 pt before and 0 pt after.
- Abstracts should not contain references, figures, or table numbers.
- Beneath each abstract, include 3–5 keywords that accurately reflect the article’s scope and content.
*For manuscripts submitted by non-Turkish authors, this requirement may be waived. The Turkish versions of the title and abstract will be prepared by the editorial office once the manuscript has been accepted for publication.
5. Language and Style
- The journal accepts manuscripts in Turkish and English. Up to one-third of each issue may include articles written in other languages.
- Articles written in languages other than Turkish or English must still include titles, abstracts, and keywords in both Turkish and English.
- For Turkish manuscripts, spelling and punctuation must comply with the latest TDK (Turkish Language Association) Spelling Guide.
- Manuscripts should follow principles of clarity, accuracy, and conciseness; unnecessary details and information outside the study’s scope should be avoided.
6. Article Structure
- Manuscripts should be structured into the following main sections:
- Introduction
- Main Text / Development
- Conclusion
- References
- Appendices (if any)
- The Introduction must clearly present the study’s aim, significance, scope, methodology, and structure.
- The Conclusion must summarize key findings and stay consistent with the purpose and scope of the study.
- New or unrelated ideas should not appear in the Conclusion.
- Subheadings (main, sub-, and sub-subheadings) may be used throughout the paper, except within the Introduction, to ensure logical flow.
7. Acknowledgments and Funding
- Papers presented at symposiums or conferences may be published if the event name, location, and date are indicated.
- Studies supported by an institution or funding body (e.g., BAP, TÜBİTAK, Ministry of Development) must acknowledge this support in a footnote on the first page, specifying the organization name and project number.
8. Citation and References
- All in-text citations and references must comply with the APA (American Psychological Association) 6th Edition style.
- Authors are required to follow the official APA Publication Manual for all citation and formatting conventions.
9. Ethical and Scientific Standards
- Manuscripts must adhere to accepted scientific and ethical research principles.
- Authors are responsible for ensuring that the content is original, accurate, and free of plagiarism.
10. Language Editing and Proofreading
- The manuscript must be linguistically sound and free of grammatical errors.
- Before submission, authors should proofread their work carefully to ensure consistency and correctness.
