ÇİZGİ VE MAĞARA BENZETMELERİYLE İLGİLİ YORUMLARIN GENEL ÇERÇEVESİ İÇİNDE DIANOIA

Year 2012, Issue: 55, 197 - 218, 15.07.2012

Abstract

Abstract

Plato handles the knowledge the context of both the process of intellectual
development and relation to the own objects. Being taken the knowledge in connection
with objects; determination of the objects of dianoia, which is one of four
mental states, stand out as problematical. In this article, firstly, dianoia mental
state is handled in the context of orthodox review and represented the arising difficulties
of determination about the objects. Then, in the context of the different
interpretations on Sun, Divided Line and Cave allegories, another interpretation
is tried to remark about the objects of dianoia. Eventually, it is focused on the
method used in dianoia mental state is more important than the determination of
own objects.
