DİL VE ŞİİR ÜZERİNE: İLETİŞİM VE KONUŞMANIN ÖTESİNDE HEIDEGGER

Öz

Bu makalede dil ve onun farklı modları ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Bir taraftan dilin evrimsel ve tarihsel gelişimine dair farklı görüşler incelenirken, diğer taraftan da bu görüşlerle ilişkili olan proto-dil, iletişim, konuşma, söyleme gibi dilsel eylem ve öğelerin felsefi anlamı ortaya koyulmaya çalışılmıştır. Öncelikle dilin karakteristik özelliklerine ilişkin farklı güncel görüşler sunulup, burada dilselliğin iki modu olarak iletişim ve konuşma hayvanın ve insanın dilselliği üzerinden incelemeye alınmıştır. Bu iki modun arasındaki benzerlikler ve farklılıklara belli dilsel, düşünsel, bilişsel, biyolojik, antropolojik vs. bağlamlarla birlikte işaret edilmiştir. Bunun ardından, üçüncü bir dilsel mod olarak, özellikle Heidegger’in kehre dönemindeki görüşleri üzerinden “şiirsel düşünme” ve “şiirsel söyleme” anlayışı incelenmiştir. Bu incelemede, “şiirsel söylemenin” daha önce bahsedilen dilin iki modu (iletişim ve konuşma) ile ne türden bir ilişkiye sahip olduğu ve bu iki moddan nasıl ayrıldığı üzerine açıklamalar getirilmiştir. Burada hem dil ve düşünme arasında ne kadar yakın ve özsel bir ilişki olduğu sergilenmiş hem de Heidegger’in ortaya koyduğu hâliyle “şiirsel söylemenin” ne türden farklı fenomenolojik katmanlarda ortaya çıktığı incelenmiştir. Burada “gündelik konuşma” ve “şiirsel söyleme” arasında “dili kullanma” ve “dili konuşma” teması üzerinden kurulan karşıt zıtlık ile, “şiirsel söylemenin” burada ele alındığı bağlamda (ve Heidegger düşüncesinde) dil-düşünme ilişkisi için ne kadar temel bir potansiyele olduğu ortaya koyulmuştur. Son olarak bu dil-düşünme ilişkisinin sadece Heidegger’de değil ama Batı felsefesi ve düşünmesinde mevcut olan üstü örtülü bir eğilim olduğuna işaret ederek makaledeki tartışma bir bütünlüğe kavuşturulmuştur.

ON LANGUAGE AND POETRY: HEIDEGGER BEYOND COMMUNICATION AND SPEAKING

Abstract

In this article, we try to conduct a discussion on language and its different mods. While on one side, we examine different opinions on evolutional and historical progress of language, on other side, we try to present the philosophical meanings of linguistic elements and acts (which are related to those opinions), such as proto-language, communication, speaking, saying etc. First, we show recent different views on characteristic features of language, then we deal with communication and speaking as two modes of linguisticality through the linguisticality of animal and human. Later, we point towards similarities and differences between these two modes through certain linguistic, intellectual, cognitive, biological, anthropological contexts. After this, we examine “poetic thinking” and “poetic saying” as the third linguistic mode, especially through Heidegger’s opinions in his kehre era. In this examination, we explain how this “poetic saying” is related to those two aforementioned modes, and how it differs from them. Here, by following how there is a close and essential relation between language and thinking, we investigate what kind of different phenomenological layers this “poetic saying” manifests itself on, as Heidegger puts it. Through the oppositional contrast between “everyday language” and “poetic saying”, which is constructed with the difference between “using language” and “speaking language”, we bring forward how this “poetic saying”, has a fundamental potentiality for language-thinking relation within the context here (and in Heideggerian thought). Lastly, we conclude the article in a holistic manner with showing that this language-thinking relation is an implicit tendency not only for Heidegger but also for Western philosophy and thought.
