FROM SHAMAN CHIEFS TO GASTRONOMIC CHEFS INGESTING THE BEING

Abstract

Spreading from the shamanic chiefs of the Archaic period to the chiefs feeding virtual images of the contemporary world, the main theme of the text is based on the most primitive feeling of hunger and its fulfillment. The hunger here is not only physical but also emotional and existential. The process, which started with potlach and turns into a representation with shamanic magical infusions that sanctify the existence, continues with the appearance of cosmos on plates in the contemporary world. Chefs or chiefs, whether they consider gastronomic or shamanic elements within their separate worlds; the main thing is that they are open to the interpretation of the outer world and the precepts of daily people. The shaman's medicine, which is socially incomprehensible in the face of illness; the chef's recipes, which brings together surprising elements in the face of hunger, serves only to one goal. Bites brought down to the stomach, medications, clean and sacred structures formed as a result of the preparation process revealed by savagery and pollution through ceremonies to plates proves only one thing: to save Being from falling into the void and to confirm it in every moment.

ŞAMANİK ŞEFLERDEN GASTRONOMİK ŞEFLERE VARLIĞIN MİDEYE İNDİRİLMESİ

Öz

Arkaik dönemin şamanik şeflerinden çağdaş dünyanın sanal imgelerini besleyen şeflere uzanan metnin ana teması en ilkel duygu olan açlık ve bunun giderilmesine dayanmaktadır. Buradaki açlık yalnızca fiziksel değil, duygusal ve varlıksal bir yapı da sergilemektedir. Potlaçlarla başlayan ve şamanik büyülerin varlığı kutsayan büyülü karışımlarıyla bir temsile dönüşen süreç, çağdaş dünyada kosmosun kendini tabaklarda göstermesiyle devam etmektedir. Şefler, ister gastronomik ister şamanik unsurları yansıtmakta olsunlar; temel olan kendi ayrık dünyaları içinde dışsal ve gündelik ötekilerin yorumlarına açık olmalarıdır. Hastalıklar karşısında toplumsal anlamda anlaşılmaz olan şamanın devası, açlık karşısında şaşırtıcı unsurları bir araya getiren şeflerin yemekleri yalnızca bir amaca hizmet etmektedir. Mideye indirilen lokmalar, bulunan devalar, vahşet ve kirlenmeyle açığa çıkan hazırlık süreci sonunda oluşan temiz ve kutsal yapılar; seremonilerden tabaklara uzanan bir düzlemde yalnızca bir şeyi ispat etmektedir: Varlığı boşluğa düşmekten kurtarmak ve her an onaylamak.
