The problem of the possibility of knowledge directs the investigation to the question whether there is any object that corresponds to sentences expressed as to be knowledge more than the methods which adequately produces knowledge. Epistemological assumption that characterizes our age is that the knowledge has no object; so there is no knowledge in the classical sense as it is expressed by Aristotle in his ontological approach. The aim of this article is to expose some approaches that are dominant in our age and that inquire the relation between knowledge and its object from different perspectives; and also discuss the distinctive properties of the Foucault’s approach to knowledge by focusing especially on his book Archeology of Knowledge
