ANTHROPOMETRIC AND PHYSIOLOGICAL STRUCTURE OF KTÜ GİRESUN EDUCATION FACULTY STUDENTS

Abstract

Measurements of antropometry and physical fitness have been carried out on 58 male students of Giresun Education Faculty of Black Sea Technical University. The mean ages of the students were 22.2 years, and their mean height and weight values were 167.28 ± 8.2 cm, 67.8 ± 6.4 kg respectively. The body fat was estimated from skinfold thicknesses as 9.94 % ±2.4. The mean values of students blood pressure were 118.5 ± 16.4 Hg (systolic), 77.62 ± 15.4 Hg (diastolic). The measurements of trunk flexibility, right and left hand grip strength, vital capacity values were reported as follows; 24.05 ± 6.82 cm, 45.62 ± 7.88 kg, 40.41 ± 6.11 kg, 4.10 ±1.6 ml respectively. The mean values for anaerobic power, calculated by the Lewis Nomogram, were 93.7 ±11.5 kg.ml sec and estimated Max VÖ2, measurement Cooper test, was 41.12 ± 4.36 ml.kg/sec approximately in this study

KTÜ GİRESUN EĞİTİM FAKÜLTESİ ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN FİZYOLOJİK ÖZELLİKLERİ VE ANTROPOMETRİK YAPILARININ ARAŞTIRILMASI

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı KTÜ Giresun Eğitim Fakültesinde okuyan 1. sınıf öğrencilerinin seçilmiş fizyolojik özellikleri ve antropometrik yapılarının belirlenmesi ve analizidir. Bu amaçla 18-27 yaşları arasında değişen Giresun Eğitim Fakültesi 1. sınıf öğrencileri arasından tesadüfi seçilen 58 erkek öğrenci, yaş, boy, kilo, pençe kuvveti, vital kapasite, anaerobik güç, sistolik ve diastolik kan basıncı, esneklik, aerobik güç, vücut yağ yüzdesi ve antropometrik yapı açısından değerlendirildi. Deneklerden alınan ölçümler sonunda şu değerler elde edilmiştir: Boy ortalaması 167.28 ± 8.2, kilo 67.8 ± 6.4 kg, vücut yağ oranları % 9.94 ± 2.4, sistolik kan basıncı 118.55 ± 16.4, diastolik kan basıncı 77.62 ± 15.4, pençe kuvveti; sağ el 45.62 ± 7.88 kg, sol el 40.41 ± 6.11 kg, aerobik kapasite 41.12 ml ± 4.36 ml. kgldk, anaerobik kapasite 93.7 ± 11.5 kg. m/sn, esneklik 24.05 ± 6.82 cm, vital kapasite 4.10 ±1.6 ml. , Skinfold, çap çevre ölçümlerinden; endemorfi 2.5 ± 0.28, mezamorfı 2 ± 0.4 ve ektamorfı 1.5 ± 0.22 değerleri elde edildi. Elde edilen bu değerler diğer üniversite öğrencileri üzerinde daha önce yapılmış olan çalışmaları destekler niteliktedir.
