THE RESULT OF SPORTS EFFECTS HAS BEEN AIMED AT ELIMINATING THE ANXIETY COMMON AMONG TO THE AGE VARIABLE THE UNIVERSITY YOUTH

Abstract

In this research the result of sport's effects has been aimed at eliminating to anxiety common among to the age variable the university youth. 311 students who are not involved with sports and studying in 7 different departments of Education Faculty of Konya Selçuk University have formed the exemplification of the research. Anxiety Standart (STAI) has always been used in the research. The result of the sport activities applied to the groups of experiment has been evaluated. According to the age varible, a similar level of anxiety has been seen at the beginning. It has apeared that the sport activities have caused a decrease in all age categories and anxiety levels.

The decrease mentioned has its highest level in 19-20 age group. As a result of this research, it has been determined that sport activities have played a very significant role in eliminating the anxiety common among the university youth.

ÜNİVERSİTE GENÇLİĞİNDE GÖRÜLEN KAYGININ GİDERİLMESİNDE SPORUN FARKLI YAŞ GRUPLARINA GÖRE ETKİSİNİN İNCELENM

Abstract

Araştırmada üniversite gençliğinde görülen kaygının giderilmesinde sporun farklı yaş gruplarına göre etkileri incelenmiştir.

Araştırma örneklemini Konya Selçuk Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesinin 7 farklı bölümünde okuyan 311 spor yapmayan öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada sürekli kaygı ölçeği (STAI) kullanılmıştır. Deney grubuna uygulanan spor etkinliklerinin sonucu değerlendirilmiştir. Bunun sonucunda yaş değişkenine göre başlangıçta birbirine yakın kaygı düzeyleri görülmüştür.

Spor etkinliklerinin tüm yaş kategorileri kaygı düzeyinde azalma meydana getirdiği ortaya çıkmıştır. Söz konusu azalma 19-20 yaş grubunda en yüksek düzeydedir. Bu araştırma sonucunda, spor etkinliklerinin üniversite gençliğinde görülen kaygının giderilmesinde yaş gruplarında çok etkin bir rol oynadığı tespit edilmiştir.
