In order to be successful in technical and vocational education (TVE), students should be oriented according to their abilities in a period from primary school to high school as in the modern countries. As the student is oriented to the fields which they are interested in, school, family and student should be in collaboration. Turkey that wants to take part in the group of developed countries and integrate into them has young and dynamic manpower, which is her, the biggest source. Using this manpower effectively, it is possible to create a competition among the countries. There are different models of TVE in the world. Our TVE system needs important reforms. While these reforms are made, VET models of different countries should be investigated.
Mesleki eğitimin başarılı olabilmesi için çağdaş ülkelerin yaptığı gibi okul öncesinden başlayarak lise sonuna kadar devam eden süreçte öğrencileri kişisel kabiliyetlerine göre yönlendirme yapılmalıdır. Öğrenciler, yatkın oldukları alanlara yönlendirilirken, okul, aile ve öğrenci işbirliği içinde olmalıdır. Gelişmiş ülkeler arasında yer almak, onlarla bütünleşmek isteyen Türkiye\'nin elindeki en önemli kaynak, genç ve dinamik bir nüfus yapısına sahip olan insan gücüdür. Bu insan gücünü iyi kullanarak ülkeler arasında rekabet yaratabilme olanağı vardır. Dünyada değişik mesleki teknik eğitim uygulamaları bulunmaktadır.
