TÜRKİYE’DEKİ GIDA GÜVENLİĞİNE YÖNELİK ÇEVRİMİÇİ ŞİKÂYETLERİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ: ŞİKAYETVAR.COM ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Şikayetvar.com platformunda “gıda güvenliği” anahtar kelimesi kullanılarak yapılan arama sonucunda elde edilen şikâyet yorumlarının değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Veriler, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi ile toplanmıştır. Elde edilen 479 şikâyet yorumu Maxqda Analytics Pro 2020 yazılımı kullanılarak içerik analizi yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Analiz sürecinde toplam 1.641 kod oluşturulmuştur. Şikâyetler en çok üretim standartları sorunları ve ürün kaynaklı tehlikeler alt temalarında yoğunlaşmıştır. Üretim standartlarında en sık dile getirilen kod denetim yetersizliği/talebi, ürün kaynaklı tehlikelerde ise fiziksel bulaşanlar kodu olmuştur. Ayrıca tüketici sağlığı ve güven kaybı alt temasında güven kaybı kodu öne çıkarken, gıda kaynaklı sağlık sorunları alt temasında sağlık endişesi kodu dikkat çekmiştir. Firma tutumu ve müşteri hizmeti yetersizliği alt temasında en çok bildirilen kod ise firma duyarsızlığı/ilgisizliği olmuştur. Elde edilen bulgular çerçevesinde, tüketici şikâyetlerinin gıda güvenliği ve halk sağlığı kapsamında, üretim, dağıtım ve firma uygulamalarına yönelik denetim ve iyileştirme çalışmalarında destekleyici bir veri kaynağı olarak kullanılması önerilmektedir.

EVALUATION OF ONLINE COMPLAINTS REGARDING FOOD SAFETY IN TÜRKİYE: THE CASE OF SIKAYETVAR.COM

Abstract

In this study, the evaluation of complaint comments obtained as a result of a search conducted on the Şikayetvar.com platform using the keyword “food safety” was aimed. The data were collected through document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods. A total of 479 complaint comments were examined using content analysis with Maxqda Analytics Pro 2020. During the analysis process, a total of 1,641 codes were generated. The complaints were mainly concentrated in the sub-themes of production standards issues and product-related hazards. Within production standards issues, the most frequently reported code was inadequate inspection/inspection demand, while physical contaminants was the most common code under product-related hazards. In addition, loss of consumer trust was prominent under the sub-theme of consumer health and loss of trust, whereas consumer health concerns attracted attention within the sub-theme of foodborne health issues. Under the sub-theme of company attitude and inadequate customer service, the most frequently reported code was company indifference/lack of responsiveness. Based on the findings obtained, it is recommended that consumer complaints be used as a supportive data source in inspection and improvement efforts related to production, distribution, and company practices within the scope of food safety and public health.
