Determination of Sorbic Acid in Wine Using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (Turkish with English Abstract)

Abstract

An isocratic high performance liquid chromatograhpic method has been used to determine sorbic acid in wine. The HPLC system consist of a reversed phase column (250x4.6 mm i.d), a solvent system of methanol –0.005 M NH4CH3COO (30:70, v/v) with a flow rate 1.5 mL/min and 254 nm detection including sample preparation, a complete determination can be accomplished in 15 min. Linear working range of the method is 0.5-5.0 ppm and the coefficient of the variation is % 1.1.

Abstract

İzokratik yüksek performans sıvı kromatografi yöntemi, şarapta sorbik asit tayininde kullanılmıştır. HPLC sistemi oktadesil silika dolgulu ters faz kolon (250x4.6 mm id) bulundurmaktadır, mobil faz metanol- 0.005 M NH4CH3COO (30:70 v/v); akış hızı 1.5 mL’dir ve dedeksiyon 254 nm gerçekleştirilmiştir. Numune hazırlama dahil tam bir tayin 15 dakikada tamamlanmaktadır. 0.5-5.0 ppm doğrusal çalışma aralığı kullanılmıştır, yöntemin varyasyon katsayısı % 1.1’dir.
