Abstract

In this review, a foodborn pathogen Yersinia enterocolitica was investigated. In addition to taxonomical and ecological characteristics of the bacterium, foods involved in Yersinia infections, pathogenicity and factors affecting the growth and survival of Yersinia in food were also discussed.

Abstract

Bu derlemede, gıda kaynaklı bir patojen olan Yersinia enterocolitica incelenmiştir. Bakterinin taksonomik ve ekolojik özelliklerinin yanısıra, Yersinia enfeksiyonları ile ilişkili gıdalar, patojenite ve gıdalarda Yersinia gelişmesini ve canlılığını etkileyen faktörler de tartışılmıştır.
