Abstract

Bu
araştırmanın amacı
üniversite öğrencilerinin algıladıkları kariyer engelleri ve cinsiyetin
birlikte kariyer uyumluluklarını yordayıp yordamadığını belirlemektir. Bu araştırmada
üniversite öğrencilerinin kariyer uyumluluklarının kariyer karar verme durumlarına
göre incelenmesi de amaçlanmıştır.
Çalışma
grubu 190 (%53,4) kadın, 166 (%46,6) erkek olmak üzere toplam 356 üniversite öğrencisinden
oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada veriler Algılanan Kariyer Engelleri Ölçeği (AKEÖ,
Sürücü, 2011), Kariyer Uyum Yetenekleri Ölçeği (KUYÖ, Büyükgöze Kavas, 2014) ve
Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verileri çözümlemek için Çoklu
Doğrusal Regresyon Analizi ve bağımsız gruplar t testi kullanılmıştır.
Araştırmanın bulguları üniversite öğrencilerinin algıladıkları kariyer
engellerinin ve cinsiyetin birlikte kariyer uyumluluğu toplam puanını (% 12) ve
alt ölçeklerini (İlgi; %19, Kontrol; %5,9, Merak; %11,4, Güven; %14,6) yordadığını
göstermiştir. Sonuçlar, ilgili literatüre dayanılarak tartışılmış, araştırmanın
sınırlılıkları, teoriğe ve pratiğe yönelik katkıları sunulmuştur. Gelecekte
kariyer psikolojik danışmanlığı ve rehberliği alanında yapılacak teorik ve
uygulamalı araştırmalara yönelik öneriler sunulmuştur.
