The aim of this study is to determine the prospective teachers’ consumption consciousness levels depending on environmental responsibility. For this aim, “Scale of Prospective Teachers’ Consumption Consciousness on Environmental Responsibility" (SPTCCER) was utilized. This scale was applied to a total of 442 prospective biology, physics, chemistry and science teacher candidates from Kazim Karabekir Education Faculty of Ataturk University. SPSS 18.0 statistical software was used in the analysis of data obtained. With respect to the MANOVA results, the prospective teachers’ consumption conscious levels depending on environmental responsibility were generally high. It is also determined there was no significant difference among scores from both all of scale and sub dimensions in terms of gender and department variables. Based on the findings, various proposals were suggested.
