Abstract

İnsanoğlu binlerce yıl öncesinde yaşadığı çevreyi, etkilendiği olayları, fgür ve nesneleri, içinde bulunduğu yerleşimi ve onlardan aldığı imgeleri resimlerinde gerçekçi bir gözlemle belgesel gibi görsel bir dille anlatmıştır. 20. Yüzyıldan günümüze kadar Avrupa resminde arka planda kullanılan mimari yapıların; ne için, ne şekilde yer aldığı, resimlerin konularıyla ilişkilidir. Mimari ögeler, içinde yaşanılan sokak, kent ya da hayali, kurgu yerleşimler olabilmekteydi. Resimlerde dinsel, simgesel, coğraf, sosyal çevre ve ekonomik yaşamın vurgulandığı mimari kompozisyonlar ana temaya ve ait olduğu akıma özgü özelliklerle birlikte gösterilmiştir.

20. Yüzyılın ortalarından beri figür, nesne, ölçü ortadan kalkmış, estetik güzelliği reddeden, izleyicinin algısını ön plana çıkaran sanat akımları ortaya çıkmıştır.1960’lı yıllarda Minimalizm ve Kavramsal Sanat her çeşit malzemeyle tasarlanan estetik kaygısından uzak eserlerin yapıldığı sanatın geleneksel tanım ve biçimini sorgulayan en önemli sanat akımlarıdır. Minimalist sanatta tüm öğeler en aza indirgenmiştir. Modern endüstrinin ürettiği malzemelerle simetri ve geometrinin egemen olduğu plastik özellikleri reddeden minimalist resim anlayışı ortaya çıkmıştır. Görsel deneyimi ve estetik hazzı dışlayan sanatçılar çoğunlukla görsel algıdan dile, dilden kavrama uzanan zihinsel süreçlerin ardındaki dinamikleri irdeleyen kavramsal sanatta da resimlerde mimari yapılardan vazgeçilememiştir. Bu çalışmada minimalizm ve kavramsal sanatta bir yandan resimde biçimsel ögeler ve içerik değişirken diğer yandan mimari formlara yapılan imgesel göndermeler üzerinde durulmuştur.

Architectural Composition as Secondary Element in European Art of Painting (Minimalism and Conceptual Art)

Abstract

Human beings, living thousands of years ago, influenced the environment, the events, figures and objects, the location and the images taken from them in a realistic visual language, such as a documentary with a realistic observation in his paintings. Architectural structures that are used in European painting in the background; for what, in what way takes place the subjects of the pictures associated with it from 20th century to present. The architectural elements could be street, city or fictitious, fictitious settlements. The architectural compositions that emphasize religious, symbolic, geographical, social and economic life are illustrated with the main theme and the current characteristics of which it belongs.

The figure, object, dimension has disappeared and art trends have emerged, which reject aesthetic beauty and bring the perception of the audience since 20th the mid-century. In the 1960s, minimalism and conceptual art were the most important art movements that questioned the traditional definition and form of the art, which was designed with all kinds of materials. With the materials produced by the modern industry, a Minimalist painting concept has emerged which rejects the plastic properties dominated by symmetry and geometry. Artists who exclude the visual experience and aesthetic pleasure are often unable to give up the architectural structures in the paintings in conceptual art, which examines the dynamics behind mental processes ranging from visual perception to language and from language to language.

In this study, in minmatism and conceptual art, on the one hand, formal elements and content were changed in the picture, on the other hand, on the other hand, on the image references to architectural forms were discussed.
