Journal of General Turkish History Research’s Open Access and Copyright Policy

Open Access Statement: Journal of General Turkic Studies (GTTAD) provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Licensing History: Our journal has implemented the following Creative Commons licensing models within the framework of open access standards:

• For studies published between 20.07.2020 and 19.07.2023, the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license was applied.
• As of 20.07.2023, the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license has been officially adopted and implemented for all published articles.

All content published from this date onwards is available for access and use under the terms of the current CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license.

Journal of General Turkish History Research does not require authors to transfer the copyright of their articles to the journal. Authors retain the copyright of their works. What is expected from them is to agree to publish their submitted works under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 DEED Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 4.0 International license. This license allows the use of the work for non-commercial purposes and ensures the original work is preserved, but does not permit alterations or the creation of derivative works.
