HAŞHAŞ BİTKİSİNİN PRE VE POSTNATAL DÖNEMDE TÜKETİMİNİN ANTİOKSİDAN ETKİLERİNİN ARAŞTIRILMASI

Öz
Haşhaş yetiştiriciliği yapılan bölgelerde haşhaşın tohum ve yağı çeşitli yiyeceklerle beraber yasal olarak kullanılmasına karşın, henüz olgunluğunu tamamlamamış bitkileri de tüketilmektedir. Çalışmamızda haşhaş bitkisi tüketiminin antioksidan etkilerinin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Gebe 21 sıçandan rastgele seçimle 3 grup oluşturuldu. Gruplardaki anne ve yavruları deney sürecince standart ve haşhaşlı yem ile beslendi. Çalışma sonunda büyümüş olan yavrulardan alınan kan örneklerin de NO değerleri kontrole göre anlamlı şekilde yüksekti. GSH seviyesi standart yem ve bitki tüketen grupta, en düşük, Serum MDA seviyesi ise sadece haşhaş bitkisi tüketen grubta çok az yüksekti. Serbest radikal oluşumunun ve antioksidan kapasitenin belirlenmesi çeşitli hastalıklara yakalanma riskini azaltmak üzere antioksidan uygulanması ilaç kullanımı açısından önemli olmaktadır. Haşhaşın yeşil bitki olarak yenilmesinin etkilerinin tam olarak anlaşılabilmesi için daha uzun süreli tüketiminin gerekli olduğu kanısındayız.
