SAĞLIK SEKTÖRÜNDE YALIN DÜŞÜNCE: BİR LİTERATÜR DERLEMESİ

Abstract

Geçmişten günümüze, üretim ve hizmet sektörlerindeki süreçlerin geliştirilmesi ve iyileştirilmesi üzerine birçok girişim gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu girişimlerdeki öncelikli hedefler arasında kalitenin arttırılması ve maliyetlerin minimize edilmesi yer almaktadır. Hizmet sektörü içinde büyük bir paya sahip olan ve toplumun her kesimini etkileyen sağlık sektörü de aynı amaçlar çerçevesinde kararlar vermektedir. Yalın düşünce, rekabetçi olmak isteyen sağlık kuruluşlarının öncelikli olarak başvurabileceği bir felsefedir. Yalın düşünce uygulamalarına yönelen sağlık kuruluşlarında, hasta ve iş akışında ortaya çıkan israf ve israf kaynaklarının ortadan kaldırılması ile sürekli bir akış sağlanabilmektedir. Ayrıca, hasta, hasta yakını ve sağlık personelinin beklentileri karşılanabilmekte ve motivasyonu artırılabilmektedir. Bu kapsamda bu çalışma ile sağlık sektöründe yalın düşünce uygulamalarına yönelik güncel bir literatür taramasının yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, son yıllarda yapılan çalışmalar bir araya getirilmiş ve sağlık sektöründeki yalın düşünce uygulamalarının genel durumunun ortaya konmasına çalışılmıştır. Oluşturulan literatür taramasının sonucunda, sağlık sektöründe yalın düşünce uygulamalarının sıklıkla tercih edildiği, uygulamalarda farklı yalın yöntemlerin kullanıldığı ve sağlık kurumlarının çeşitli birimlerinde uygulamaların gerçekleştirildiği ortaya çıkmıştır. Yalın düşünce uygulamaları ile etkin bir sürecin tasarlandığı ve beklenen iyileştirmelerin sağlandığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Çalışmada son olarak, sağlık sektöründeki hangi durumda hangi yalın yöntemin kullanılmasının uygun olacağına ilişkin öneriler geliştirilmiştir. Yalın felsefenin henüz çok fazla bilinmediği Türkiye’de, bu çalışmanın; sağlık sektöründen yöneticiler, karar vericiler ve tüm paydaşlar için bir yol haritası olarak kullanılabileceği umut edilmektedir.
