HİZMETKÂR LİDER DAVRANIŞLARININ GÜVEN İKLİMİ ARACILIĞIYLA İŞ TATMİNİNE ETKİSİ: SAĞLIK SEKTÖRÜNDE BİR ALAN ÇALIŞMASI

Abstract

Sağlık sektörü; sağlık hizmeti sağlayıcıları, sağlık kuruluşları, merkezi hükümet, yerel yönetimler, sağlık
sigortası şirketleri, işverenler, akademi ve hastalar dahil olmak üzere geniş bir paydaş yelpazesine sahiptir. Sağlık
hizmeti sağlayıcıları, hastalara etkili bir şekilde hizmet etmek için güvenli ve organize bir ortam ararlar. Özellikle
sağlık alanında önem arz eden hizmetkâr liderlik, hastaların hak ettiği yüksek değerli bakımı sunmada sağlık
hizmeti sağlayıcılarının mesleki ve etik görevleriyle optimum şekilde uyumludur. Değerlere dayalı bir liderlik
yaklaşımı olan hizmetkâr liderliğin, iş tatminini pozitif bir şekilde etkilediği bilinmektedir. Bu kapsamda mevcut
çalışmada hizmetkâr lider davranışlarının güven iklimi aracılığıyla iş tatmini üzerindeki etkisinin incelenmesi
amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaca yönelik çalışmada anket tekniği ile elektronik ortamda, 339 sağlık çalışanından veriler
elde edilmiştir. Çalışma sonuçlarından hizmetkâr lider davranışlarının iş tatminini pozitif olarak etkilediği,
hizmetkâr liderliğin güvenlik iklimini pozitif olarak etkilediği; güven ikliminin, hizmetkâr lider davranışları ve iş
tatmini arasındaki ilişkide aracı role sahip olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

SERVANT LEADERSHIP BEHAVIOR INFLUENCE ON JOB SATISFACTION VIA THE ROLE OF SAFETY CLIMATE: A FIELD STUDY AT HEALTH SECTOR

Abstract

Health sector has a wide range of stakeholders such as healthcare providers, healthcare organizations, central
government, local governments, health insurance companies, employers, academia and patients. Healthcare
sector seek a safe and organized environment to provide effective services for patients. Servant leadership helps
healthcare sector in delivering the high-value care patients that they deserve, and in this process servant leaders
optimally aligned with the professional and ethical duties of service providers. Servant leadership that emphasized
a values-based leadership approach, positively affects job satisfaction. In this context, we aimed to examine the
influence of servant leadership behavior on job satisfaction via the mediating role of safety climate. For the
purpose of this study, data were obtained from 339 healthcare workers via electronic questionnaire forms. The
results of the study show that servant leader behaviors positively affect job satisfaction, and safety climate, and
safety climate has a mediator role on the relationship between servant leadership behavior and job satisfaction.
