Abstract

The existence
and legitimacy of state is the subject matter of political philosophy, that
explores the various philosophies of state.  
This
introductory paper aims to explore only philosophy of anti-statism and its
various forms. The
Anti-statism is a term used to describe opposition to the state and its power
for the sake of individual liberties. It is an ideology that rejects the state
completely (stateless society)  or aims
to reduce the size and scope of the state to a minimum. In brief, it is an
opposition to state intervention into personal, social or economic affairs of
individuals. Anti-statism ideology argues that there is no legitimate governmental
authority. According to anti-statists individuals ought to be left alone
without any governing power or governance. Antistatists believe that most economic
and social problems are a result of too much government interference in the
operation of the free market economy. There are many different forms of this
ideology including left anarchism, right anarchism, individualist anarchism,
collectivist anarchism, communist anarchism, mutualism, anarcho-syndicalism, libertarianism,
minarchism etc. In this paper, we aim to explore anti-statism theories and
ideologies in general.  There will be
also a comparison between liberal/libertarian thought with anti-statists
ideologies.

DEVLET FELSEFESİ: ELEŞTİREL DÜŞÜNCELER

Abstract

Devlet
felsefesi denildiğinde bundan devletin varlığını ve meşruiyetini sorgulayan
düşünceler ve ideolojileri anlamak gerekir. Siyaset felsefesinin ana konusu da
esasen devlet felsefesi üzerine kuruludur. Giriş niteliğindeki bu makalenin
amacı sadece anti-devletçilik ideolojilerini incelemekten ibarettir. Anti-devletçilik,
birey özgürlüklerinin korunması amacına yönelik olarak devletin varlığını ve
gücünü sorgulayan ideolojileri ifade etmek üzere kullanılan bir kavramdır.
Anti-devletçilik ideolojilerinin bir kısmı devleti tamamen reddederken
(devletsiz toplum görüşü) diğer bir kısmı devletin görev ve fonksiyonlarının
daraltılmasını savunur. Anti-devletçilik ideolojisi devletin meşruiyetini
sorgular; devletin otorite ve yönetme konusunda meşru bir güç ve yetkisinin
olmadığını savunur. Anti-devletçi düşünürlere göre bireylerinin yaşamlarının
herhangi bir zorlayıcı otoriteden bağımsız olması önemlidir. Sözkonusu
ideolojinin muhtelif türlerinden söz edilebilir. Bunların başlıcaları  sağ anarşizm, sol anarşizm, bireyci anarşizm, anarko-kapitalizm,
kollektivist anarşizm, komünist anarşizm, 
karşılıkçılık, anarko-sendikalizm, liberteryenizm ve minarşizm olarak
sayılabilir. Bu çalışma içersinde başlıca anti-devletçilik teorileri
ve ideolojileri incelenmektedir. Çalışmamızda ayrıca anti-devletçilik
ideolojileri ile liberal/liberteryen düşünce arasında  bir karşılaştırma yapılmaktadır.
