Null hypothesis statistical significance testing (NHST) is a vital, frequently utilized, but contentious topic in the field of statistics. Applying statistics to a problem, it is necessary to comprehend NHST and the sampling distribution. Another crucial topic, which is related to NHST and the sampling distribution, is the standard error, a standard deviation-form function obtained from the sampling distribution. This paper provides an outline of these important concepts to help students understand and ponder these concepts logically. This paper also offers a new mobile application to teach understandably the influences of various parameters and statistics on sampling distribution and standard error.
