The method of supporting individuals to maintain their well-being and to cope with the problems or challenging life events with books or appropriate texts is called bibliotherapy. This method, which is used by both mental health professionals and educators to achieve different goals, is also very important in terms of accessibility. In this study, it is aimed to examine the postgraduate theses published in Turkey on bibliotherapy in terms of different variables and to present the studies used for therapeutic purposes in detail. In this context, after the data collection process, 18 graduate theses reached from YÖK Thesis Center in March 2022 were examined in terms of different variables. Eleven theses of bibliotherapy, which were planned in experimental design for therapeutic purposes, were presented in detail. As a result of the research, it was seen that bibliotherapy was studied with a very large sample from childhood to advanced adulthood, generally in the field of psychology and education. In addition, it has been found that the bibliotherapy method used in the theses examined in terms of effectiveness has a significant effect on the independent variables of parental conflict, perfectionism, interpersonal problem solving, empathy, depression and happiness, self-confidence, social emotional learning skills, self-perception, problem solving, perceived stress, religious coping and god imagination.
