Journal of Istanbul Veterinary Sciences is dedicated to publishing high quality articles in all branches of veterinary sciences. The Journal aim to serves as a resource to veterinarians, students, scientists, and others who have interest to obtain reliable information on animal research and veterinary science.

The journal publishes original research articles, short communications, case report, letter to the editor and review articles in English. It covers anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, microbiology, parasitology, virology, pathology, public health, clinical sciences, biomedical, genetics, animal breeding, reproduction, animal nutrition and feeding, animal welfare and behavior, food hygiene and technology, livestock economics, poultry production and diseases, exotic animals, fisheries and aquatic sciences. Papers relating to veterinary education, ethics, and public health are also within the scope of Journal of Istanbul Veterinary Sciences.
