Üniversite Öğrencilerinde Kendini Toparlama Gücü’nün İçsel Koruyucu Faktörlerle İlişkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, üniversite öğrencilerinin cinsiyetlerine göre kendini toparlama gücü düzeylerinin farklı olup olmadığını ortaya koymak, içsel koruyucu faktörlerin (iyimserlik, özyeterlik, problem çözme odaklı başa çıkma stratejisi) kendini toparlama gücünü ne ölçüde yordayabildiklerini belirlemektir. Araştırmaya Gazi Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören 264 öğrenci katılmıştır ve öğrencilere Risk Faktörlerini Belirleme Listesi, Kendini Toparlama Gücü Ölçeği, Yaşam Yönelimi Testi, Genelleştirilmiş Özyeterlik Ölçeği ve Stresle Başa Çıkma Tutumları Envanteri’nin Aktif Planlama alt ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde t testi, Pearson korelasyon katsayısı ve standart çoklu regresyon analizi teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, öğrencilerin kendini toparlama gücü puanlarının cinsiyete göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermediği, toplam grup ile kız ve erkeklerde kendini toparlama gücü puanları ile iyimserlik, özyeterlik ve problem çözme başa çıkma stratejisi puanları arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişkiler elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca regresyon analizi sonuçları, toplam grup ile kız ve erkeklerde iyimserlik, özyeterlik ve problem çözme odaklı başa çıkma stratejisi değişkenlerinin kendini toparlama gücü üzerinde anlamlı birer yordayıcı olduklarını göstermektedir
