Abstract

Bu makale iktisatın konusunu ve kullandığı yöntemleri inceleyip değerlendiren bir makaledir. Birinci bölümde iktisatı mübadele ilişkileri ile sınırlandıran iktisadi statik ve mübadele ilişkilerine ilişkin bilgi üretiminde kullanılan a priori aksiyomatik yöntem irdelenmektedir. İkinci bölümde sermaye birikimine bağlı olarak tedrici bir değişme süreci içinde olan ekonomiyi bir bütün olarak ele almak yerine parçalara ayıran ve bu parçalar içinde daha gevşek bir akıl yürütme biçimini benimseyen kısmi teorik yöntemler incelenip değerlendirilmektedir. Üçüncü bölümde ise, sermaye birikimi ve iktisadi gelişmenin iktisadi dinamiği ve a posteriori tümevarım yöntemleri olan istatistiksel ve tarihsel yöntemler irdelenmektedir.

On Economics and Its Methods

Abstract

This paper discusses and evaluates the scope and methods of economics. The first section discusses economic statics which limits the scope of economics with exchange relations and a priori axiomatic method. The second section of the paper deals with an economy experiencing a gradual capital accumulation process. In this section partial theoretical methods which use looser forms of axiomatic method are analyzed. In the third section, economic dynamics of capital accumulation and economic development and a posteriori statistical and historical methods are discussed and evaluated.
