Publication Policy

IDEAS: Journal of English Literary Studies (online ISSN: 2757-9549), published by The English Language and Literature Research Association of Türkiye (IDEA), is an electronically published, international, double-anonymous peer-reviewed, semi-annual journal for English literary studies. The consecutive issues of each volume are published in April and October every year.

It is necessary that papers submitted to the journal have not been previously published, nor are they under consideration and evaluation for publication in other journals.

For the sake of diversity, an author cannot publish her/his articles in consecutive issues (this principle is valid after the second issue of IDEAS). To preserve the quality of scholarly publishing, the Editorial Board of IDEAS has decided to accept submissions from authors who either have their PhD degrees or are at least enrolled in a PhD programme currently.

IDEAS: Journal of English Literary Studies expects all parties to hold the ethical responsibilities written in light of the guides and policies made by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

If a member of the Editorial Board wishes to submit a manuscript for consideration in the journal, they must temporarily or permanently withdraw from the Editorial Board. In accordance with ethical standards, this measure ensures an unbiased and transparent review process.
