Announcement
In order to enhance the efficiency of our journal’s publication processes and to sustainably maintain quality standards during the peer review and editorial evaluation stages, a new regulation regarding the number of articles to be included in issues published starting in 2026 has been implemented.
Accordingly, the number of articles to be published in each issue has been set at a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 10. This regulation is intended to contribute to the more efficient conduct of the review processes and to strengthen the academic quality of the published works.
We would like to thank all our authors, reviewers, editors, and readers for their valuable contributions to the development of our journal, and we wish you success in your work.

Burdur Theology Journal publishes two issues per year, in June and December. It is an academic, international, peer-reviewed journal. The publication language is Turkish and English. The journal aims to publish articles, book reviews, and symposium evaluations related to the field of religious studies (Social and Human Sciences/Religion) and to contribute to science by sharing them with the public. The journal's target audience consists of academics, researchers, graduate students, and relevant academic institutions and organizations.

Articles are accepted between January 10 and April 30 for the June issue and between July 10 and October 31 for the December issue.
Articles must be formatted according to the journal's writing rules and submitted using the writing template. For rules and templates, please refer to the writing rules section.

The language of publication of our journal has been updated to Turkish and English as of the June 2025 issue. From this date onwards, only works prepared in Turkish or English will be considered for publication.
