THE DIFFERENCE IN GRAMMATICAL ASPECTS AND ITS EFFECT ON THE MULTIPLICITY OF QURANIC MEANINGS: SURAH AL-MU'MINUN AS A SAMPLE

Abstract

There is no doubt that syntax has a great role in directing the Quranic meaning. The Noble Qur’an cannot be interpreted without referring to the grammatical rules and knowing the position of the word in the Quranic context. Therefore, the interpreters were keen to translate to reach the intended meaning of any Quranic verse, and in my research I tried Examining the most important aspects of Arabic that were mentioned by exegetes and grammarians in Surat al-Mu'minun, explaining the most important opinions about each aspect of Arabic, detailing it in terms of syntactic and the opinions of commentators and grammarians, and the estimated meaning that the verse came to. Arabic aspects, and each Arabic aspect included some grammatical issues that revolved around the subject of disagreement - in particular the difference between the schools of Basra and Kufa and those who followed their approach - such as the issue of including a verb meaning another verb or an interpretation of a preposition in place of another preposition, and such as the issue of (أفعل), the issue of (ما), the issue of (إذا), and the issue of (حتى).and other issues that were dealt with in detail, and then concluded the research with the most important findings that I reached
