The İHYA International Journal of Islamic Studies is an international peer-reviewed academic journal published biannually, in January and July. The journal does not charge any submission, evaluation, or publication fees, and fully adopts an open and free publication policy.
İHYA aims to contribute to the accumulation of academic knowledge produced within the field of Theological Studies and related social sciences by publishing original scholarly works of national and international academic quality. The journal encourages interdisciplinary, critical, and analytical approaches to research. While Turkish is the primary language of publication, high-quality academic studies written in Arabic, English, and German are also published.
All manuscripts submitted to the journal are evaluated in accordance with the principles of double-blind peer review. In order to ensure academic integrity and publication ethics, all submissions are subjected to plagiarism screening. Scientific originality, methodological rigor, and compliance with ethical standards constitute the fundamental criteria of the evaluation process.
The scope of İHYA primarily covers academic studies centered on Theological Studies, examining the Islamic intellectual tradition within its textual, historical, philosophical, and social contexts, and fostering a critical engagement between the classical heritage of the field and contemporary academic approaches.
