The İHYA International Journal of Islamic Studies is an international, peer-reviewed academic journal published biannually, in January and July. The journal does not charge any submission, evaluation, or publication fees. The manuscript submission deadlines are 15 May for the July issue and 15 November for the January issue. However, if the journal reaches its evaluation and publication capacity for a given issue, the submission process may be closed prior to the announced deadlines.

İHYA aims to contribute to the academic body of knowledge produced within the field of religious studies (Social and Human Sciences / Religion), with a primary focus on Theological Studies and related social sciences, by publishing original and high-quality scholarly works. The journal publishes research articles, book reviews, and symposium evaluation papers. No specific page limit is imposed on submitted manuscripts.

All submitted manuscripts undergo the following stages: Preliminary Review, Plagiarism Screening, Peer Review, and Turkish–English Language Editing. Manuscripts that fail to pass the Preliminary Review stage despite being reviewed three times are returned to the author and are not reconsidered within the same publication period. Manuscripts that successfully pass the Preliminary Review are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process involving at least two reviewers. Where deemed necessary, the editor may increase the number of reviewers.

The İHYA International Journal of Islamic Studies uses the ISNAD Footnote Citation Style (The Isnad Citation Style) for references and footnotes. The APA citation style is not used in the journal. Detailed information on the ISNAD Citation Style is available at:
