ÇALIŞANLARIN YALAN SÖYLEME EĞİLİMİ VE ÜRETKENLİK KARŞITI DAVRANIŞLARI ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİDE KİŞİLİĞİN DÜZENLEYİCİ ROLÜ

Abstract

Yalan,
aldatmaya yönelik olarak gerçeklerin çarpıtılmasıdır. Üretkenlik karşıtı iş
davranışı (ÜKD) ise, örgüte ve çalışanlarına kasıtlı olarak zarar verme veya
zarar verecek davranışta bulunma şeklinde tanımlanabilir. Her iki davranışı
sergilemede de bireyin kişilik özelliklerinin etkisi büyüktür. Bu çalışmanın
amacı; çalışanların yalan söyleme eğilimi ile iş yerindeki üretim karşıtı
davranışları arasındaki ilişkide, kişiliğin olası düzenleyici etkilerinin
incelenmesidir. Makalede önce kavramsal çerçeve çizilmiş, ardından araştırmanın
detayları sunulmuştur. Çalışanların yalan söyleme eğilimleri Conway’in (2014)
bireylerin örgütlerde dürüstlüğünü sorgulayan durumsal muhakeme testinden
uyarlanmış 12 senaryo ile ölçülürken; üretkenlik karşıtı davranış ölçeği olarak
Spector ve arkadaşlarınca (2006) şekillendirilen, Türkçe geçerlik – güvenirlik
çalışması Öcel (2010) tarafından yapılan Üretim Karşıtı İş Davranışları (ÜKD)
Ölçeği kullanılmış; kişilik ölçeği olarak Gosling ve diğerlerinin (2003)
kişiliğin beş faktör modelini temel alarak geliştirdikleri 10 maddelik ölçek
Taşcı ve Eroğlu’nun (2007) araştırmasından alınmış ve farklı yaş, meslek ve
sektörden 358 çalışandan kartopu yöntemi ile anket verisi toplanmış, analiz
edilmiştir. Bulgular, yalan söyleme eğilimi ile üretkenlik karşıtı davranış
arasında pozitif ve anlamlı bir ilişki olduğunu; ve bu ilişkinin sorumluluk değişkeni
tarafından desteklendiğini göstermiştir.
