Muhasebe Eğitimi Alan Öğrencilerin Muhasebe Mesleğine Bakış Açılarının İncelenmesi: Ömer Halisdemir Üniversitesi Örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmada; muhasebe eğitimi alan öğrencilerin muhasebe mesleği ile ilgili genel düşünceleri, muhasebe mesleğini tercih etme nedenlerinden oluşan mesleğe bakış açıları ve bu bakış açılarının demografik faktörlere göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama yöntemi olarak anket yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Anket, Ömer Halisdemir Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Meslek Yüksek Okulu Muhasebe ve Vergi Uygulamaları programında öğrenim gören 157 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen anket verileri SPSS programında Tek Örneklem Kolmogorov Smirnov(K-S), Levene, Mann Whitney U ile Kruskal Wallis H testleri kullanılarak analize tabi tutulmuştur. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, öğrencilerin muhasebe mesleğine bakış açılarında cinsiyet yönüyle istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılığın olmadığı; öğrenim durumu, yaş ve mezun olunan lise değişkenleri açısından bazı önermelerde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Investigation of Perspectives of the Students Taking Accounting Education to the Accounting Profession: The Model of Ömer Halisdemir University

Abstract

In this study, it has been tried to reveal the reasons that the students taking accounting education prefer the accounting profession, their general considerations about the accounting education, and whether the demographic factors cause a differentiation on joining the proposals related accounting profession. To do this, a survey has been applied for the data collection method. This survey has been conducted with 157 students studying in Ömer Halisdemir University, Social Sciences Junior Technical College Accounting and Tax Programme. The obtained survey data were analyzed using the Single Sample Kolmogorov Smirnov (KS), Levene, Mann Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis H tests at the SPSS program. As a result of the analysis done for the students in their view of the accounting profession, it has been revealed that there is no meaningful statistical differentiation related to gender. But there are meaningful statistical differentiations related to education status, age, and the high school that the student graduated in some proposals.
