Aim

The aim of the International Journal of Agriculture and Wildlife Science is to publish original, high-quality, and scientifically valuable research conducted in the fields of agriculture and wildlife sciences and to contribute to national and international scientific knowledge. The journal aims to support the dissemination of scientific studies that contribute to the improvement of agricultural production, sustainable use of natural resources, enhancement of productivity and quality in plant and animal production, and development of wildlife ecology and management.

The journal encourages studies that provide scientific solutions to current problems in agriculture and wildlife sciences, present new findings, and offer results that can contribute to both scientific knowledge and practical applications. In this context, the journal aims to strengthen scientific communication among researchers, academics, experts, and stakeholders working in agriculture, natural resources, and wildlife-related disciplines.

As an international peer-reviewed journal, the International Journal of Agriculture and Wildlife Science conducts an objective, transparent, and ethically responsible evaluation process in order to maintain the scientific quality of published articles. Manuscripts submitted to the journal are first evaluated by the editorial board and then reviewed by experts in the relevant field in terms of scientific content, methodology, originality, relevance, and compliance with the journal’s publication principles.

By publishing articles in Turkish and English, the journal aims to reach both national and international audiences and to promote interdisciplinary scientific exchange in agriculture, natural resources, and wildlife sciences.

Scope

The International Journal of Agriculture and Wildlife Science covers a broad range of scientific fields related to agriculture and wildlife sciences. The journal publishes original research articles particularly in the fields of Horticulture, Plant Protection, Biosystems Engineering, Agricultural Structures and Irrigation, Agricultural Machinery and Technologies Engineering, Agricultural Economics, Field Crops, Agricultural Biotechnology, Soil Science and Plant Nutrition, Wildlife Ecology and Management, and Animal Science.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, plant production, vegetable and fruit growing, ornamental plants, viticulture, field crops, seed science, plant breeding, plant diseases and pests, weed science, integrated pest management, agricultural biotechnology, soil fertility, plant nutrition, irrigation, agricultural structures, agricultural machinery, precision agriculture technologies, agricultural economics, rural development, animal production, animal nutrition, genetic resources, natural habitats, wildlife management, biodiversity, and ecosystem-based studies.

Manuscripts submitted to the journal must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions must be prepared in accordance with scientific and ethical principles. For studies requiring ethics committee approval, the relevant ethics committee document must be submitted during the application process.

The journal accepts original research articles of scientific merit. In order for a manuscript to be published, it must be found suitable by the editorial board and reviewers in terms of scientific content and formal requirements. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts in line with reviewers’ comments and editorial recommendations. Manuscripts that are not considered suitable for publication are returned to the authors.

The International Journal of Agriculture and Wildlife Science is published twice a year, in June and December. Manuscripts are submitted through the DergiPark system, and the entire evaluation process is carried out electronically.
