Abstract

Bu araştırma makalesi, seramik sanatında çoğaltma olgusunun üretim süreçlerindeki rolünü ve sanatsal ifade üzerindeki etkisini incelemektedir. Çoğaltma, yalnızca bir nesnenin sayısal olarak arttırılması değil, aynı zamanda kopyalar arasındaki farklılıklar ve ifadenin güçlendirilmesi bağlamında ele alınmaktadır. 1960 sonrası Pop-Art ve avangard hareketlerle birlikte sanatta bir yöntem olarak benimsenmiş, Andy Warhol, Marcel Duchamp ve Joseph Beuys gibi sanatçılar tarafından sanatın değer yargılarını sorgulamak için kullanılmıştır. Çalışma, çoğaltımın seramik sanatında özgünlük ve sanatsal değer bağlamında nasıl konumlandığını araştırmaktadır. Literatür taraması ve sanatçı eser analizleri gibi nitel yöntemlerle yapılan inceleme, çoğaltımın hem üretim sürecini kolaylaştıran hem de sanatsal anlatıyı dönüştüren bir strateji olduğunu göstermektedir. Sonuç olarak, çoğaltım, seramik sanatında yeni ifade biçimleri yaratmakta ve diğer sanat disiplinleriyle güçlü bağlar kurmaktadır.

TECHNİCAL, CONCEPTUAL, AND ARTİSTİC DİMENSİONS OF MULTİPLİCATİON AS A PRODUCTİON METHOD İN CERAMİC ART

Abstract

This research paper examines the role of the phenomenon of multiplication in the production processes of ceramic art and its impact on artistic expression. Multiplication is considered not only as a numerical increase of an object but also in terms of the differences between copies and the reinforcement of expression. Adopted as a method in art after the 1960s with the rise of Pop Art and avant-garde movements, it has been used by artists such as Andy Warhol, Marcel Duchamp, and Joseph Beuys to question the value judgments of art. This study explores how multiplication is positioned in ceramic art concerning originality and artistic value. Through qualitative methods such as literature review and analysis of artists' works, the research demonstrates that multiplication is not only a means of facilitating production but also a strategy that transforms artistic narration. In conclusion, multiplication creates new forms of expression in ceramic art and establishes strong connections with other art disciplines.technical and conceptual dimensions, maintaining a strong parallel with other artistic disciplines.
