Türkiye’de TEKNOFEST Etkinliklerinin Gençler Üzerinde Yarattığı Sosyo-Politik Dönüşümler: Teknopolitik Bir Analiz

Abstract

TEKNOFEST, Türkiye’de son yıllarda büyük ivme kazanan ve gençleri teknolojiyle buluşturan bir festivaldir. T3 Vakfı ve Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanlığı’nın iş birliği ile düzenlenen TEKNOFEST etkinliği, festivalin sınırlarını aşarak toplumsal alanda yankı oluşturmuş ve kısa sürede sosyal bir olgu haline gelmiştir. Bu makalede TEKNOFEST’in Türkiye’deki gelişim süreci ve bir teknoloji ekosistemi olarak gençler üzerindeki sosyo-politik etkisi akademik perspektifle ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada TEKNOFEST’in gençlerin meslek seçimini, yenilikçi eğilimlerinin güçlendirilmesini, bilimsel ve eleştirel düşünmelerini nasıl etkilediği değerlendirilmiştir. Bu bağlamda gençlerin ulusal ve uluslararası düzeyde yaşadıkları özgüven, kimlik edinme ve politik aidiyet geliştirme hususları ele alınmıştır. TEKNOFEST etkinliği gençlerin teknolojiye ilgisini artırdığı gibi yenilikçi projelerin ortaya çıkmasını sağlamaktadır. TEKNOFEST, bu bağlamda sadece teknoloji festivali olmayıp "milli teknoloji hamlesi" söylemiyle gençlerin ulusal teknoloji vizyonuna entegre edilmesini hedefleyen bir araç olarak hizmet vermektedir. Çalışmamızda TEKNOFEST'in gençler üzerindeki politik ve sosyal etkileri, teknopolitik ve tekno-milliyetçilik kavramları kritik literatür taraması yapılarak eleştirel bir perspektifle incelenmiş ve analiz edilmiştir.

The Socio-Political Transformations Created by TEKNOFEST Events on Young People in Türkiye: A Technopolitical Analysis

Abstract

TEKNOFEST is a festival that has gained significant momentum in Türkiye in recent years and brings young people together with technology. Organized in collaboration between the T3 Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the TEKNOFEST event has transcended the boundaries of a festival, created a social impact and quickly become a social phenomenon. This article examines TEKNOFEST's development process in Türkiye and its socio-political impact on young people as a technology ecosystem from an academic perspective. The study evaluates how TEKNOFEST influences young people's career choices, strengthens their innovative tendencies, and affects their scientific and critical thinking. In this context, issues such as the self-confidence, identity formation, and development of political affiliation experienced by young people at the national and international levels are addressed. The TEKNOFEST event not only increases young people's interest in technology but also facilitates the emergence of innovative projects. In this context, TEKNOFEST is not just a technology festival, but serves as a tool that aims to integrate young people into a national technology vision with the slogan “national technology initiative.” In our study, the political and social effects of TEKNOFEST on young people were examined and analyzed from a critical perspective by conducting a critical literature review of the concepts of technopolitics and techno-nationalism.
