THE EFFECT OF PERSON-ORGANIZATION FIT ON JOB SATISFACTION: THE MEDIATE ROLE OF WORK FLOW EXPERIENCE

Year 2023, Volume: 3 Issue: 2, 38 - 55

Abstract

Flow is a situation where people get immersed in an activity and completely lose the concept of time. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between person-organization fit, work flow experience and job satisfaction. The study also examined whether work flow experience has a mediating role in the effect of person-organization fit on job satisfaction. The research sample consists of 205 academicians working in Antalya. The relations between the variables were tested with four hypotheses, and a survey-based study was conducted to test the hypotheses. SPSS and AMOS statistical package programs were used in the analysis of the sample consisting of academicians. The collected data were analyzed with the structural equation model. According to the results of the analysis, it has been determined that there is a positive and significant relationship between person-organization fit, work flow experience and job satisfaction, and that work flow experience has a mediating role in the relationship between person-organization fit and job satisfaction. The study is important in that it is the first study to consider these variables as a whole.

BİREY-ÖRGÜT UYUMUNUN İŞ TATMİNİ ÜZERİNE ETKİSİ: İŞ AKIŞ DENEYİMİNİN ARACI ROLÜ

Year 2023, Volume: 3 Issue: 2, 38 - 55
