International Journal of Educational Sciences and Innovation (IJESI)

The International Journal of Educational Sciences and Innovation (IJESI) is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access, international academic journal published electronically by Ibn Haldun University, Faculty of Education. The journal publishes original research articles, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses in English.

IJESI follows a continuous publication model. Articles are published online immediately after acceptance and completion of the editorial process. All articles published within a calendar year are compiled under a single annual volume.

 

Aim and Scope

IJESI aims to publish high-quality scientific studies that blend theoretical and applied knowledge across all sub-disciplines of educational sciences. The journal provides an international platform for discussing innovative models, current technological integrations, and original pedagogical approaches intended to enhance educational quality. It seeks to build a bridge between researchers, educators, and policymakers who produce sustainable and innovative solutions to global and local educational challenges.

The journal covers, but is not limited to, the following topics:

  • Educational Administration and Leadership
  • Educational Technologies and Digitalization (AI, AR/VR, e-learning, learning analytics)
  • Curriculum Development and Instructional Design
  • Measurement and Evaluation in Education
  • Teacher Education and Professional Development
  • Guidance and Psychological Counseling
  • Special Education and Inclusive Practices
  • Science, Mathematics, and STEM Education
  • Pre-school, Primary, and Higher Education

The journal welcomes original research articles designed with quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods, as well as comprehensive reviews and meta-analysis studies.

 

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to IJESI undergo a double-blind peer review process. The identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the process. Manuscripts are evaluated by at least two independent expert reviewers. In case of disagreement between reviewers, a third reviewer is consulted. The target review period is 15–60 days.

 

Open Access Policy

IJESI is a fully open-access journal in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). All published content is freely available to readers without charge. Articles are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0).

 

Publication Ethics

IJESI is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. The journal adopts the guidelines and Code of Conduct established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Ethics committee approval is mandatory for all research involving human participants.

 

Plagiarism Policy

All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software (iThenticate, Turnitin, and İntihal.net). Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% (excluding references) will be returned without review.

 

Fee Policy

IJESI does not charge any submission, processing, or publication fees at any stage. No Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied.
