International Journal of Innovative Engineering Applications is an international open access, peer reviewed journal with the primary goal to provide a high-level platform where academic achievements of great importance in engineering science and technology can be disseminated and shared. Proceeding from scientific discoveries, the research achievements disseminated by this journal should be convertible through innovation into a new productive force so as to promote the development of world-class industries and engineering projects of important socio-economic significance.

2. Views & Comments— Expository and heuristic comments and reviews on major issues, articles, and events;

Manuscripts must be prepared in English, and are subject to a rigorous and fair peer-review process. Accepted papers will immediately appear online, followed by a printed. The journal publishes original papers including but not limited to the following fields:

International Journal of Innovative Engineering Applications (IJIEA) is committed to maintaining standards through a rigorous peer-review together with ethical policies. Any infringements of professional scientific ethical codes, such as plagiarism, fabrication and falsification of data, should be taken very seriously by the editors with no tolerance.
The ethical principles for the participants of the publication process in International Journal of Innovative Engineering Applications (IJIEA) are developed in compliance with the Code of Conduct of the Committee on Publication Ethics – COPE, and the Code on Publication Ethics. Double blind peer review and selection of papers is limited to only those that fall within the research fields included in the scope of the journal.
It is therefore crucially important for everyone involved in the publication process (author, editor, reviewer, and publisher) to develop and to agree to certain ethics principles. Ethical Responsibilities of Authors
Authors should refrain from misrepresenting research results which could damage the trust in the journal, the professionalism of scientific authorship, and ultimately the entire scientific endeavour. Peer Review Policy
International Journal of Innovative Engineering Applications (IJIEA), applies double blind peer-review process in which both the reviewer and the author are anonymous. Reviewer selection for each submitted article is up to editors, and reviewers are selected based on the reviewer’s expertise, competence, and previous experience in reviewing papers for IJIEA.
Every submitted article is evaluated by editor, at least, for an initial review. If the paper reaches minimum quality criteria, fulfills the aims, scope and policies of IJIEA, it is sent to at least two reviewers for evaluation.
The reviewers evaluate the paper according to the Review guidelines set by editorial board members and return it to the area editor, who conveys the reviewers' anonymous comments back to the author. Anonymity is strictly maintained.
The double blind peer-review process is managed using Dergipark platform.
Open Access Policy
IJIEA provides immediate open access for all users to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public, supporting a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving Policy
IJIEA is accessed by Dergipark platform which utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
Editor-Author Relationship
The editor accepts or rejects the article, taking into account the aims and objectives of the journal according to the originality, validity and clarity of expression. The editor evaluates the article suitable for the content of the journal as long as it has no serious problems. The newly appointed editor does not change the decision made by the previous editor for the article, unless there is a serious problem. “Blind Peer Review” and “Evaluation Process” is applied by the editor for each article. The editor publishes the Author's Guide to be used by the author(s) in preparing an article. The editor provides notification and feedback to the author(s) when necessary.
Editor-Reviewer Relationship
The editor sends article for the reviewer to evaluate according to his profession. The editor provides the information and guidance the reviewer needs in the evaluation process. The editor oversees whether there is a conflict of interest between the author(s) and the reviewer. Editor protects the reviewer's personal information through Blind Peer Review process. The editor encourages the reviewer to evaluate the work in an impartial, scientific and appropriate language. Editor appraise the reviewer according to performance and timely turnaround. The editor sets policies and practices to improve the reviewer's performance. The editor constantly updates and expands the reviewer pool.
Editor-Editorial Board Relationship
The editor informs the editorial board member about the ethical principles and publishing policy and keeps them informed of the developments. The editor asks the editorial board member to progress the article evaluation process in accordance with ethical principles and publication policy. The editor asks the editorial board member to evaluate the article impartially and independently. The editor appoints a new contributing and suitably qualified editorial board member. The editor sends an article for the editorial board member to evaluate according to his field of expertise. The editor regularly interacts with the editorial board. The editor organizes meetings with the editorial board periodically for the development of the journal.
Editor-Journal Owner-Publisher Relationship
The relationship between editor, journal owner and publisher is based on the principle of editorial independence. In accordance with the contract between the editor and the publisher, all decisions taken by the editor are independent of the publisher and the journal owner.
Quality Assurance
The editor ensures that every article published in the journal meets international standards in accordance with the journal's ethical principles and publication policy.
Protection of Personal Data
The editor protects the personal data of the subjects or images in the articles and refuses to work unless the explicit consent of the individuals used in the article is documented. It protects the personal data of the editor, author, reviewer and readers.
Ethics Committee, Human and Animal Right
The editor ensures the protection of human and animal rights in the articles and rejects the article when there is no ethical committee approval for the subjects used in the article and permissions for experimental studies.
Precautions against Misappropriation and Misconduct
The editor takes precautions against the possibility of misconduct and misconduct. Conducts a meticulous and objective investigation and shares findings in case of such complaints.
Academic Publication Integrity
The editor ensures that the errors, inconsistencies or misdirections in the article are quickly corrected.
Protection of Intellectual Property Rights
The editor protects the intellectual property rights of all published articles and defends the rights of the journal and the author(s) in possible violations. The editor takes the necessary precautions to ensure that the content in all published articles does not violate the intellectual property rights of other publications and requests a similarity report from the author(s) for each article uploaded to the system.
Constructiveness and Openness to Discussion
The editor considers persuasive criticism of each article published in the journal and takes a constructive attitude towards criticism. The editor gives the author(s) the right to reply to the criticized article.
Author, Reviewer and Reader Complaints
Editor takes into consideration the complaints and criticisms from the author, reviewer and reader. Gives enlightening and explanatory answers by examining the complaints and criticisms.
Political and Business Concerns
Editor's decision is independent of the journal owner, publisher, and other political and commercial factors.
Publication Policy
Articles uploaded to the International Journal of Innovative Engineering Applications (IJIEA) system are published after being subjected to impartial processes in accordance with the publication policy. One of the most important principles of IJIEA is the compliance of the stakeholders involved in impartial processes with the publication policy. IJIEA publishes using the DergiPark system and processes related with articles are carried out through the DergiPark system.
Publication Language
The International Journal of Innovative Engineering Applications (IJIEA) is published "online" twice a year in June and December. If the Editorial Board deems appropriate, a Special Issue can also be published.

International Journal of Innovative Engineering Applications asks the author(s) to fill and sign the “Submission Declaration” document submitted on the journal website for each article sent to the journal and upload it to the system. The articles of the author(s) who do not send a signed undertaking document will not be taken into evaluation.

Publication process and policy
Publication Interval: IJIEA is published twice a year, in June and December.
Peer Review Process and Paper Acceptance Conditions:
The articles to be sent to the journal should not have been published anywhere before and should not have been sent for publication. If this situation is detected, the article evaluation process is canceled.
In articles submitted to the journal, research and publication ethics should be followed and COPE's (Committee on Publication Ethics) International Standards for authors should be taken into account in the rules regarding “Publication Ethics”, “Research Ethics” and “Legal/Special Permission Documentation”.
The copyright transfer form should be uploaded to the system in studies that require ethics committee permission, and a statement stating that ethics committee permission is not required at the end of the article in studies that do not require ethics committee approval. Otherwise, the articles are not included in the evaluation process. Also at the end of the article; contribution rate statement of researchers, statement of conflict and, if any, statement of support and thanks should be included.
The contribution rate statement of the researchers, if any, support and thanks statement and conflict statement should be included in the article. The researcher contribution rate and conflict of interest declaration form must be signed and uploaded with the article file. Otherwise, the articles are not included in the evaluation process.

Submitted articles should be prepared in accordance with the writing rules of our journal.
The evaluation process of the articles is carried out according to the blind peer-review system, in which the author(s) are not informed about the identities of the referees and the referees are not informed about the identities of the author(s).
Articles that comply with the editorial policy and spelling rules are sent to at least two reviewers to be evaluated using the blind reviewing system.
Within the framework of the reports from the reviewers, it is decided whether the article will be published or not. The publication of the articles depends on the decision of the editor, even if they have received a positive opinion by the reviewers.
In case corrections are requested by the reviewers, the corrections requested by the author(s) must be made. If requested, the corrections made are reviewed by the reviewers again.
IJIEA Journal has the right to publish, not publish and correct the submitted articles.
Copyright fee is not paid to the author(s) for the articles published in the IJIEA Journal.
IJIEA Journal follows an open access policy.

The decisions taken by the Editorial Board of International Journal of Innovative Engineering Applications (IJIEA), dated January 1, 2023, are given below.
Clause 1- As of January 1, 2023, only publications in English will be accepted to International Journal of Innovative Engineering Applications.
Clause 2- As of January 1, 2023, a fee of “50 €” will be charged for each article submission in order to cover publication expenses. This fee is requested after the article is checked for compliance with the scope of the journal, regardless of the acceptance or rejection condition.
The answer to the 44th question is clearly stated in the 2021 January Term Frequently Asked Questions and Answers section of the Higher Education Council's statement about the predatory journals.
“Journals that charge a fee or additional fee from the author for publication after the acceptance of the article (Predatory Journals) cannot be used in the terms of the associate professorship application (declaration) due to the conflict of interest in this relationship. However, it should be added to the CV and the list of works.
In this context, the following journals can be used for associate professorship application requirements (declaration):
• Journals that charge a fee during the article submission, regardless of the acceptance/rejection condition,
• Journals that charge a fee to make the relevant article open access, although it works on a subscription basis,
• Journals that do not charge any fee from the authors during the article printing process.”
