POTANSİYEL LİDERLİĞİN YORDAYICISI OLARAK KİŞİLİK ÖZELLİKLERİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Türkçe konuşan katılımcı grupta, potansiyel liderlik özelliklerinin, kişilik özellikleri ile yordanması amaçlanmıştır. Ayrıca sosyo-demografik değişkenlerin de potansiyel liderliğin yordanmasına katkı sağlayıp sağlamadığının test edilmesi düşünülmüştür. Bu amaçla çalışmada kolay örnekleme yöntemi ile 18-70 yaş arası 480 erkek, 624 kadın olmak üzere toplam 1104 katılımcıya ulaşılmıştır. Potansiyel liderlik özelliklerini yüksek ve düşük düzeyde taşıyan gruplarının yordanması, çok değişkenli lojistik regresyon analiziyle yapılmıştır. Kurulan modelde Beş Faktör Kişilik Modeline dayalı beş faktör toplam puanları, yaş, cinsiyet, medeni durum, eğitim durumu, gelir durumu ve gelir getiren bir işte çalışma durumuna yer verilmiştir. Sonuç olarak potansiyel liderlik özellikleri gruplarının yordanması için kurulan modelde Dışadönüklük, Sorumluluk ve Zeka / Hayal Gücü faktörleri yer almıştır. Sosyo-demografik değişkenlerin hiçbirinin potansiyel liderlik özellikleri gruplarının yordanmasına katkı sağlamadığı anlaşılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar kişilik ve liderlik literatürleri doğrultusunda tartışılmıştır.
