The Istanbul Kent University Journal of Health Sciences (IKUJHS) aims to promote the production and dissemination of scientific knowledge by publishing original, up-to-date, and high-quality academic studies conducted in the fields of medicine and health sciences.

The journal operates under the principles of scientific quality, methodological rigor, adherence to ethical values, and academic integrity, and strives to:

• Support research and educational activities in medicine and health sciences to strengthen academic productivity and knowledge sharing,
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and create a multidisciplinary scientific communication environment in the field of health,

• Prioritize studies that contribute to the protection and improvement of public health and the enhancement of healthcare service quality,

IKUJHS adopts a multidisciplinary approach and publishes research conducted in all basic, clinical, and applied fields of medicine and health sciences.

The journal accepts and publishes the following types of scientific manuscripts: original research articles, review articles, case reports, and letters to the editor.

IKUJHS gives priority to publications that contribute to the development of individuals, communities, and healthcare systems.

The publication languages of the journal are Turkish and English.

It is published three times a year — in March, July, and November — exclusively online.

All content is subject to an open access policy, and no fees are charged at any stage of the submission, review, or publication process.
