About

Istanbul Kent University Journal of Health Sciences (IKUJHS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by Istanbul Kent University. The journal aims to contribute to the production and dissemination of scientific knowledge in the field of health sciences and adopts internationally recognized principles of scholarly publishing.

The journal publishes original research articles, reviews, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, case reports, and other scholarly works that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in health sciences. IKUJHS welcomes interdisciplinary research as well as basic and applied studies, clinical and community-based research, and scientific studies focusing on the improvement of health services and practices.

IKUJHS is committed to the principles of scientific integrity, methodological rigor, transparency, research and publication ethics, and academic integrity. Submitted manuscripts are initially evaluated for their scientific quality and compliance with the journal's aims and scope. Manuscripts considered suitable for further evaluation are reviewed by at least two independent experts through a double-blind peer-review process.

The publication languages of the journal are Turkish and English. IKUJHS aims to facilitate scientific communication and collaboration among researchers, academics, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders working in the field of health sciences.

The journal seeks to serve as a national and international platform for high-quality and reliable research, to enhance the visibility of scientific studies, and to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and evidence-based practices in health sciences.

Istanbul Kent University Journal of Health Sciences is the official scientific publication of Istanbul Kent University and operates under a continuous publication model.
