SİMÜLASYONUN TANIMI, TARİHÇESİ VE HEMŞİRELİK ALANINDA KULLANIMI

Abstract

Simülasyon, bireylerin veya ekiplerin verdikleri kararların ve eylemlerin sonucunu yapay oluşturulmuş bir ortamda, gerçek/olası bir duruma yönelik risk almadan, önceden deneyimleyerek sonuçlarını görmelerine olanak tanıyan bir öğretim sistemidir. Klinik uygulamaların öğrenciler üzerindeki stresi, öğrenme hedeflerinin karşılanamaması hem öğrencilerin hem de hastaların güvenlik gereksinimleri, klinik uygulama süresinin kısa olması ve uygulamanın yapıldığı ortamın çevresel koşulları uygulama ortamı etkili bir klinik eğitimin yapılamamasına neden olmaktadır. Simülasyona modern çağda 20. yüzyılın ikinci yarısında başladığına inanılmaktadır. "Son yirmi yılda, sağlık sektöründe simülasyon kullanımının önemine yönelik farkındalık giderek artmaktadır.
