The Investigation of the Usage of Smart Textile Products in Different Sport Branches
Abstract
It is also know to occur every day textile products with different functional properties in the
textile areas as in all areas in parallel with technological researches. Smart textiles are at the
beginning in great interest areas because they allow the use of advanced technology and have
high value added features. These products defined as smart textile structures and products
have been used in different sport branches in recent years. The studies reveal the contribution
of the usage of different smart textiles as sportech to athletes performance and sport
equipments. In this study, the usage of smart textiles in different sport branches and the
impacts of the usage smart textiles on competitions and training performances of athletes
were investigated. The features and the future of multidisciplinary studies have revealed with
the examples smart textile structures and products..
