Gülten Genç is a Professor in the Department of Foreign Language Education at Inonu University, Malatya, Turkey. She received her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Educational Sciences. She has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Teacher Education and Foreign Language Teaching Methodology at İnönü University. Her research focuses mainly on professional development of foreign language teachers, language learners’ psychology and intercultural communication
Prof. Dr. Ramazan SEVER was born in 1968 in the Yeşilyurt district of Malatya. He completed his primary education in Malatya, his secondary education in Muğla, and his higher education in 1994 at Erzurum Atatürk University, Kazım Karabekir Faculty of Education (KKFE), Department of Geography Education. Sever completed his master’s degree in 1996 and his doctorate in 2001, after which he was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the same year.
In 2006, with his study titled Energy Investment Projects in the Çoruh Basin and Their Environmental Impacts and his other scholarly works, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor in the field of Human Geography. In 2011, he received the title of Professor with his major work Human and Economic Geography of the Karlıova District.
After serving for 17 years at Atatürk University KKFE, he worked for approximately 10 years as a faculty member in the Department of Primary Education at Giresun University Faculty of Education, where he also held various administrative positions across different units of the university. Sever is currently serving in the Department of Primary Education within the Faculty of Education at İnönü University.
Sever has numerous published works, and his main fields of study and research include geography education, geographic literacy, primary and social studies education, instructional technologies and material development, environmental issues and environmental education, disasters and disaster management, among others.
