Ortaokul Öğrencilerinin Sosyal Sorumluluk Düzeyinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı ortaokul öğrencilerinin sosyal sorumluluk düzeyinin incelenmesidir. Ayrıca ortaokul öğrencilerinin sosyal sorumluluk düzeyi ile alt boyutlardan yardımlaşma, çevreye duyarlılık, birlikte hareket etme, sosyal duyarlılık düzeylerinin cinsiyet ve sınıf düzeyi değişkenine göre incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma nicel bir araştırmadır. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 384 ortaokul öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Ortaokul Öğrencilerine Yönelik Sosyal Sorumluluk Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Veri analizinde One-Sample t testi, Independent Samples t-Testi ve One-Way ANOVA testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre ortaokul öğrencilerinin sosyal sorumluluk düzeyleri yüksek bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerin alt boyutlar olan yardımlaşma düzeylerinin yüksek, çevreye duyarlılık düzeylerinin orta düzeyde, birlikte hareket etme düzeylerinin orta düzeyde ve sosyal duyarlılık düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin sosyal sorumluluk ile alt boyutlarına ilişkin düzeylerinde cinsiyete göre anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamıştır. Sekizinci sınıfta öğrenim gören öğrencilerin sosyal sorumluluk ile alt boyutları puanlarının diğer gruplarda yer alan öğrencilerden anlamlı düzeyde yüksek olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

Examining of Social Responsibility Levels of Secondary School Students

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the social responsibility level of secondary school students. In addition, it is also aimed to examine the social responsibility level of secondary school students and the sub-dimensions of cooperation, environmental awareness, acting together, social sensitivity according to the variables of gender and class level. The study is a quantitative research. The survey model, which is one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the research. The sample of the study consists of 384 secondary school students. Social Responsibility Scale for Secondary School Students was used as a data collection tool in the research. One-Sample t-test, Independent Samples t-Test and One-Way ANOVA test were used in data analysis. According to the findings obtained from the research, the social responsibility levels of the secondary school students were found to be high. It was determined that the sub-dimensions of the students, which are the level of cooperation, are high, the level of environmental sensitivity is at a medium level, the level of acting together is at a medium level, and their social sensitivity level is high. There was no significant difference according to gender in the levels of students regarding social responsibility and its sub-dimensions. It was determined that the social responsibility and sub-dimensions scores of the eighth grade students were significantly higher than the students in the other groups.
